Hyperborea

As we grow up we are presented with a certain world. This world is the way it is and there’s nothing we can do to change it. We are born into a certain part of this world, not just a physical location but also a certain area of society. We had no choice in this. The social level of the family into which we were born greatly dictates the course of our lives. Again, this is just how this world works. We accept this state of affairs. Scientists describe to us how this world is structured. We accept what they say. The media tells us how our society works. We accept what they say. There is a general agreement on everything. Television and social media present us with certain things and these are the things that we take on board. We never think that there could be alternatives. These media show us what is good and what is bad. We accept what they say. We are shown how our lives are to be in this world, what jobs we should have, what food we should eat, what music we should listen to, what films we should watch. We accept this.

All of these things are signs and signifiers that relate to a certain world and we therefore assume that this world is the one in which we live. We are all supposed to be living in that world, we are all supposed to have those jobs we are told to have, to do and say and think all of the things that we are supposed to, as per all these signs and signifiers, television, social media etc. Go on Facebook and look at people’s profiles. There you will see more signs and signifiers of this world. You will see people doing and saying all of the things that they have been instructed to. But each Facebook post is merely another sign or signifier of this world, they are not that world itself. So where is it?

The Truth is, it is nowhere. It does not exist. The whole thing is a lie. The world we have accepted as existing, the one we all grew up in, the one that is presented to us all day every day by these signs and signifiers, is not really there at all. It is a simulacrum, a fantasy. When we see other people, we are merely seeing their signs and signifiers of this fake world, their Facebook posts. We don’t really see them at all, mainly because there is nothing to see. They are not real. They are just as fake as the world referred to by the signs and signifiers.

Everything you have been told is a lie. Every value you have had instilled in you is wrong. Nothing is authentic, nothing is real, nothing is True. You must find the path to the True world, the True reality, let’s call it Hyperborea. You will not find Hyperborea “out there” in the world, for that world is the false, non-existent world of the signs and signifiers, let’s call that one the Matrix. You will not find Hyperborea on television or on social media. All that exists in those places are the signs and signifiers of the fake world, the Matrix. As Pindar said, “Neither by land nor by sea shalt thou find the road to the Hyperboreans.”

Yet Hyperborea exists within each and every one of us. To find it we must destroy all of the signs and the signifiers of the Matrix. Unplug from the Matrix, unplug from the false signs and signifiers of television and social media. Unplug from all of the fake people in the Matrix, those defined by their Facebook posts with nothing authentic underneath. Take the red pill, search within yourself, revalue all values! Then you may find the path to Hyperborea.

Do not accept the world as it is presented to you. If you do you will merely “be”. You won’t go anywhere, you won’t achieve anything, your life will be static, simply a set of signs and signifiers pointing and referring to a non-existent world, the Matrix. But if you abandon these signs and signifiers, if you create your own values from scratch, based on reason, logic, rationality and mathematics, then you will cease to “be” and will start to “become”. You will find the path to Hyperborea, the path of becoming.
