Preamble Part 2

The Prophecy, an excerpt.

Yours is a dark world, but you are its light,
Your task is to guide, to illuminate the night.
To do so, firstly darkness must you find,
To truly see, their eyes must be made blind.
Seek out the darkness, force it to be born,
For the darkest hour comes just before the dawn.

From those that were the bitterest of slaves,
One group was forcibly pulled from their graves.
This group, who ever fought against their pains,
Shall be cut down, ‘till only one remains.
And he shall journey in your darkest hour,
To bring forth light of terrifying power.

And he shall unify the light and dark,
Leaving behind his synthesising mark.
When light and dark are balanced, only then,
Will you step forth as guiding lights again.
But first into the abyss must you stare,
And it will look at you and strip you bare.

For you must bring true darkness to the land,
To summon to the world his helping hand.
Together you and he can then unite,
The burning sun of reason to ignite.
The serpent and the eagle shall fly high,
When he and you together light the sky.
